Organization’s Mission
LD Resources Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 under IRS section 501(c)(3). Our history of advocating for people with learning disabilities, enlightening multiple institutions in regards to compliance with American Disabilities Act, (ADA) federal rules, has brought awareness to K-12 schools, colleges, and universities, ensuring that assistive technology was made available for students. One initial focus was to support students transitioning from High School to College and so our Annual Awards Program was created. Multiple grants were secured to provide Assistive Technology for learning-disabled students from financially limited households. Our hope is that these awards will provide the necessary foundation by which these students can continue to build strong academic futures.
