Zahavit Paz is a Founder and Executive Director of LDRFA.org as well as LD Resources Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 2001 (under IRS section 501(c) that helps find solutions to those who are affected by learning disabilities, Dyslexia and ADHD.
Zahavit Paz is dedicated to empowering students and adults diagnosed with Learning Disabilities, ADHD and other learning differences to maximize their school and career opportunities through technology and building the skills needed for lifelong learning.
Zahavit Paz herself struggled with a dual diagnosis of dyslexia and ADHD. After successful treatment, she’s been sharing her story and helping others with similar conditions succeed and thrive. Since an early age, Zahavit has been a passionate proponent and an advocate for the rights of people with learning disabilities.
She is a graduate of the CUNY Graduate Disabilities Study program, certified in Neurofeedback and trained in several holistic modalities and psychology. She had a successful business career and now dedicates most of her time working for philanthropic causes.
Zahavit is an advocate for individuals with LD and created art installations to raise awareness for people who are suffering from invisible disabilities. Often their disability isn’t obvious. She believes that art is a powerful tool to express emotions when words can’t.
Zahavit is often a presenter on Assistive Technology at professional conferences in schools and colleges and has written extensively on her personal struggle with Dyslexia and ADHD. Using a pluralistic and positive approach she created training conferences at universities, schools that specialize to educate the LD student.
